This week, it’s not a love hangover I’ve got …

It’s a vulnerability hangover.
On Wednesday I shared some pretty deep stuff that I’ve been working through.
If you haven’t checked it out, you can do so here.
I had a raging headache the evening of the post. And felt not-quite-right all day yesterday.
Yes I’ve been feeling a bit sick, but this was something totally different.

Yep. A vulnerability hangover! Gotta love it.
This weekend I plan on doing a whole lotta nothin’. Recovery time. Score! :)
I hope you have a truly beautiful weekend, wherever you are and whoever you’re with!

THIS WEEK’s MISCELLANY

I’m crushing on this color combo right now :: Indigo + Gold. It’s understated, dramatic glamour. Love!
Need help finding your purpose? This post has some amazing inspirational fuel for you!
Note to self :: re-read these 8 kitchen habits. Frequently. Super helpful!
Love these graphic + colorful interpretations of cities around the globe.
NYC + Paris + San Francisco are on my wish list.
I’ve been coveting a pair of high-tops for more than a year now. I can’t
seem to find the right ones. But this post gave me some pretty great possibilities. Are you a sneaker fan?
Loving these HOW TO videos from makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. Now I can finely perfect my cat eye! ;)
All my writers out there – this is a MUST read.
The Art of the Body. One of my most favorite lingerie + swimwear lines on the planet. Such beauty!
Doing research for my film and found this super cool series of portraits on multi-racial families via a friend of mine. Love the idea!
A big fan of this product line + their mission. The eye cream is delicious!
My favorite manifesto by Holstee – set to motion. The perfect way to start your weekend!

I’m sincerely glad to hear that your research is going well! It’s only my city since november and I didn’t have a lot of time to visit/experiment (also laziness-shame on me. But the boyfriend is not helping either) but it would be great to meet you here :)

It takes time to get to know a new city – so have fun! And when I make my plans to visit Paris, I would love your recommendations {and we can surely meet}. Fun! :)
